Why hire Shaunie Sullivan Photography?
– I honestly love what I do! I love capturing all the different stages of life. My goal is to help you with both preparing for your session and making it fun and enjoyable for everyone on the day of! And obviously get amazing shots for you and your family!
What is the turnaround time?
– You will receive the edited images from your session within 10-15 business days, unless rush edit is requested and paid for. Edited final images from wedding day coverage will be sent to you within 6-8 weeks.
How much does the average bride spend on wedding photography?
-A Utah bride, on average, spends about $2000 on wedding photography.
How do payments work?
– 50% of your total amount due is required at time of booking. That amount will hold your scheduled date and time and can be used towards future bookings should you need to reschedule. The remaining 50% is due three weeks before your session date. If your session is 4-5 weeks away when booking, you may be required to pay the full amount upfront.
For Wedding Packages and Ala Carte, 50% of your total amount due is required at time of booking. The remaining 50% is due four weeks before your wedding date.
How many photos can I expect to receive?
– You can expect 50+ edited images from your session and 70+ from extended family sessions. I often get carried away and send more! For weddings, you can expect about 70+ high resolution edited images from engagement and bridal/formal sessions and 300-400 high resolution edited images from your wedding day coverage (depending on number of hours contracted).
How will I receive my high resolution edited photos?
– When your final edited images are finished, you will receive a beautiful online gallery via email! You receive personal print release with your payment and signed contract and can print your images for your own personal use to your heart’s desire.
When should we schedule our sessions?
– It is best to schedule your session a 3-6 months in advance! It will give us time to plan and prepare. Dates are first come first serve.
I recommend scheduling engagements 9-10 weeks before the wedding date. Invitations typically need to be sent to guests 3-4 weeks before your wedding date, and you’ll want plenty of time to get them ordered and addressed. I recommend scheduling bridals 4+ weeks before your wedding date. That way you have time to choose favorites to print for the big day!
Do you offer discounts?
– Shaunie Sullivan Photography does not currently offer discounts. I have taken a lot of time to set my prices to be affordable for you and practical for me and my family. Thank you for your understanding.
Do I have to print through Shaunie Sullivan Photography?
– No! As per the print release, you may print wherever you see fit for personal use. I do HIGHLY recommend printing at a higher quality lab. I personally use Nations Photo Lab online for a decent priced, quality printer. If you would prefer to order via your online gallery, you absolutely may.
Can we have the RAW files?
– No. Shaunie Sullivan Photography does not give out RAW files. To help you better understand, there is a difference between unedited jpeg files and RAW files. RAW image files are Massive files that allow so much more to be done editing wise. Again, I do not give them out, as stated in my contracts. Unedited images are not a representation of my work, and my images true to my work is what you pay for when you hire me.
