Best Photography Locations Utah – Summer edition! Every photographer has their favorite spots to shoot at. Every photographer also has their preference of seasons! If you ask me, spring and summer are the best seasons to capture your photos during! The greens and warm light are so versatile for wherever you hang the photos in your home.
Now, down to it! My top favorite locations for photography photo sessions in the down right beautiful Northern Utah:

1. Alpine Poppy Field
If you have been around for even a brief minute, you know I LOVE poppies. I love the color, how stunning they are, and I adore that they bloom for two magical weeks the beginning of June and then are gone. Unfortunately, the Alpine Poppy Field is closed for 2022, in order to help the poppies grow back fuller. You better believe I’ll be there June 2023!

2. Tibble Fork Reservoir
Tibble Fork Reservoir might be a favorite of mine for every season. It is stunning year round. I’m absolutely certain you will see it in other posts! Tibble Fork is well known for its water. However, there is also a rock dam with a path on top, a lower field with easy walking access from the main parking lot, and a field higher up with full views of the mountains.

3. Butterfield Canyon
Driving up Butterfield Canyon feels like summer time to me. It gives me those magical feels! And truly, you don’t even have to enter the canyon to find an amazing spot to stop for photos. I have shot everything under the sun here. It is perfect for any type of session!

4. Lehi Pond
I LOVE this pond. It’s beautiful, and it has so many options. For instance, there is a path, a large tree right by the water, a field, and a small beach. The light that filters through these trees is incredible.
5. Aspen Grove
Up Provo Alpine Loop, close to Sundance, is Aspen Grove. The field with the towering, rocky mountain is absolutely gorgeous. There is an amphitheater a hop and a skip away from the field, also, if that is your thing!
